The two Halton Hurricanes players overcame several deficits -- including an 11-point hole in the semifinals -- to win the 14-under girls' championship at the Ontario Volleyball Association event. In the final, Krebs and Monkhouse dropped the first set 21-13 before rallying to win the next two sets, 21-14 and 15-13. The provincial gold marked the third medal in as many 14U tournaments for the duo this season. Krebs and Monkhouse earned silver at their previous two competitions.
