BRISTER, Joseph Samuel 5T2, P.Eng (5 May 1930 - 30 December 2012) On Sunday December 30, 2012, our wonderful, amazing and courageous husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather passed away following a valiant battle. Loved and loving husband of Margot (Seguin) Brister for 56 years. Devoted father of Kim (Robert) Simich of Whitby, and Robin (Phil) Sbrocchi of Oakville. Doting grandfather "Joey" of Jennifer and Matthew Simich and Timothy, Robert, Alexandra and Harley Sbrocchi. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Anne (Cummings) Brister, his brother Charles and his in-laws John and Mirza (Coburn) Chaput. Joe will be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues. Joe passed as he lived - with grace and dignity. He is at peace and will be missed beyond words. We express our deep gratitude to the entire palliative care team of 4E at OTMH; and Dr. Hayder Mahdi and his staff. Special thanks to Marvin Basar Incorporated and his staff for the unwavering support. Your prayers, messages and thoughts during Joe's difficult journey have been greatly appreciated. There will be no service in keeping with Joe's wishes. Cremation has occurred. A Celebration of Joe's Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Condolences through www.koprivataylor.com.
