In 2012 for major market dealers, Kennedy Ford surpassed their 2011 results and finished tied for number one in customer satisfaction for all of Canada. David and his brother Scott succeeded their father, Malcolm, as dealer principals two years ago. Malcolm Nourse owned and operated Kennedy Ford Sales Limited from 1977 to 2010. The dealership just completed 50 years in business on December 1, 2012. To celebrate 50 years, Scott and David are planning extensive renovations at the current location. Construction will start in the spring with a target completion date before the end of the year. "Our plans include renovating all the amenities in our dealership to make it even more customer friendly," says David. "All our customer touch points will be re-done to further enhance the customer experience."
