"It's like watching the red carpet at the Academy Awards -- entertaining and it's going to be incredible," said Charlotte Riddell, past-president of the May Court Club of Oakville. Riddell and Patti Hnatiw, another past-president, are co-chairing the Mirror Mirror Fashion Show Runway Tour 2013, set to take place at the Oakville Conference Centre, 2515 Wyecroft Rd. Since2008,Ihaveworkedat GoodnightGoodmorning and since this month is a special one the store's 15th anniversary I wanted to take the opportunity to express my appreciation and let others know how incredible it is to work with such a great team at such a great store. When I first began working at the store my lingerie knowledge was limited to scanning items at the Sears Lingerie counter limited to say the least! I was a shy 21 year old back then and my confidence and reputation of today is credited to my attentive, knowledgeable and incredibly patient teachers; Ana Maria, Lorna and ownerAnya.Formonthstheyworkedone-on-onewithmesharing their expert fitting and selling techniques ones that keep our customers coming back year after year. Before starting at Goodnight Goodmorning, I had never known that a "J-cup"even existed, like most women I used to think bra sizes were limited to cups A-DD... was I ever wrong! Bra fitting is a constant learning process for all of us at the store as all women are shaped differently and have different needs and wants. Our team is one of the best and it shows in the longevity of all Goodnight Goodmorning's employees myself having worked the Mary Brown-Reym shortest time of 5 years. Today, I can't imagine working anywhere else. My background is in fine arts yet my future is in lingerie and to be honest, some of these bras are art! I think the reason we have all stuck around so long is our wonderful boss, Anya. She's not just our boss she is our friend, a member of our extended family. Her savvy business sense and her flair for life are inspiring. She treats her staff with the utmost respect and creates a fun and productive working environment. Most people find themselves stressed in the workplace we go to work to get a break from stress! It also helps to be surrounded by delicate and pretty things; lingerie that makes you feel sexy, sleepwear that makes you feel like a princess and swimwear that gives you the confidence to walk around at the beach it's all you've got on it better work for your figure! Bra and swimsuit shopping is usually low on the list for pleasurable experiences for women but it's extremely satisfying to see these women leave the store with a different outlook, realizing bra & swimsuit shopping can be fun! The majority of our customers are repeat customers coming back time after time for not only the best selection of products in the area but also the experience & atmosphere of the store. If you haven't given yourself the gift of a bra fitting at Goodnight Goodmorning don't wait any longer... your body will thank you! I never understood quality before I began working at Goodnight Goodmorning. Now I get it no matter what you always get what you pay for. I also never fully understood the benefits of working in an environment with people who truly care for each other and a boss who treats you as a friend not just an employee. I feel so lucky to know Anya, Ana Maria and Lorna and I am very thankful they welcomed me all those 5 years ago. When I started in April of 2008 I celebrated the store's 10th Anniversary, this year I will celebrate the 15th Anniversary and in 5 years I look forward to celebrating the 20th Anniversary. It has truly been a pleasure. Advertorial Enter to WIN a Frou Frou Nighty Bring in this ballot in April for your chance to win!
