And preliminary research and testing is proving promising, Bell noted, with 100 per cent of the mice that received the treatment surviving, while data shows it also seems to be working on human patients. "Those who get the treatment often get standard cold-like symptoms at first, and then it's gone, along with cancer," he said. "What's most promising is that further research on mice has shown the virus teaches the body to reject future cancer growth."
