BLAKE, Doreen It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Blake on Monday April 1st after a very brief stay at the Ian Anderson House in Oakville. Doreen was a loving a devoted Mother to Susan Pink (Guy Roberts pre-deceased) James Blake (Nicole). Doreen was a very proud and cherished grandma to Andrew and Sarah Pink and Justin, Ryan, and Adam (predeceased) Blake. Born in Mimico she is pre-deceased by her parents Ruth and Cliff Tutton. She will be missed by her sister's Elizabeth and Marilyn (Lorry) Crockower. Doreen coowned Halton Taxi and J&J Auto Repair starting in the mid 1970's until 1999. The Oakville Taxi Industry was not her only passion; she was greatly involved in the community, most notably The Oakville Rotary and The Canada Club. She enjoyed the outdoors skiing, kayaking, hiking, and most of all, spending time with her family at the cottage. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (1 block East of Kerr Street) www.koprivataylor.com. The Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11am at Walton United Church, 2489 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville. Reception to follow (at the church).
