Predeceased by his wife, Jean Valerie Stanton and son Peter Stanton. Surviving are his daughters Claire Mackenzie and Susan Stanton, and his 4 grandchildren. Donald, born February 25, 1928 in Sheffield, England, was a Court Reporter for the Supreme Court of Ontario. He especially enjoyed fly fishing and entertaining family and friends at the Franklin Club. A great dancer, he loved Dixie Land Jazz and classical music. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas Street West) on July 12th from 12-2pm.
