Rev. David Walker Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the age of 88. Rev. David Walker, beloved husband of Ann Linton. Dear father of David (Kylie Humphreys), Bruce and Lynn. Cherished grandfather of Joshua (Jacqui), Joel (Corine) and Adam. Adored great-grandfather of Miranda, Sebastian, Deklan and Lincoln. David is survived by his brother William Walker (June). Predeceased by his sister Margaret Miller. He will be sadly missed by family and many friends. David served as a Minister with many congregations including Aldershot Presbyterian Church in Burlington, St. John's United Church in Oakville, St. James United Church in Etobicoke as well as Kleinburg-Nobleton United Church. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME , 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, August 9, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at St. James United Church, 400 Burnhamthorpe Road, Etobicoke, on Saturday, August, 24 at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Plan Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com .
