He is looking for a paramedic job to hone his skills until he goes back to school in a few years at N.A.I.T. to acquire his E.M.T.-P (Emergency Medical Technologist-Paramedic). On Monday August 19th Isabella passed away peacefully at OakvilleTrafalgar Hospital in her ninetieth year. Beloved wife of the late John Grant, mother of Byron and wife Ann, grandmother to Alexandra, Nikita and Ben and wife Leah and great-grandmother to her pride and joy, Emma. Many adopted Isabel as their grandmother and called her "Granmma Isabel". Isabella will be greatly missed by her two brothers Alvin and Mervin (Sharon), and particularly by her two nieces NancyJane Kendall (Bob) and Sandra Chalmers (Bill) and her nephew Mervyn Lees. Cremation has taken place. Isabella's ashes will be scattered with her husband's on the moors of Scotland near Grantown at a later date. In accordance with her wishes no funeral or service will follow. A memorial service, however, will take place on Monday September 2nd at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd West in Oakville at 3:00 pm. Isabella valued her friends and family, and all her friends and the employees at her residence; Heritage Place. She loved music and was proud to be the first "patron" of the Celtic Fiddle Orchestra of Southern Ontario. Isabella also loved the people at her Salvation Army Church.
