New to Oakville this fall, ARK is a running and training program for boys and girls aged six to 14. In Oakville's eight-week introductory session, ARK coaches will focus on map reading, agility, speed training and endurance. ARK combines trail running, New training program for kids offers adventures on the run night running, navigation, cross country running, obstacles and winter snowshoe running to create a fun, challenging eco-adventure. Coaches and leaders not only challenge and teach kids to be stronger, tougher and faster runners while having an appreciation and respect for the environment, but they also coach kids on the problem solving skills necessary in training, racing and life. ARK will be held Monday evenings between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. at a location to be announced.
