B R E A K I N G B A R R I E R S Chalk it Up for Charity Sunday A Chalk it Up for Charity event being hosted Sunday (Sept. 15) in Oakville will help provide clean water to children around the world. Participants who attend the event will support bringing clean water to children in need as the $10 participation fee will support building a well. In return, participants will be able to spend an afternoon drawing with chalk at 165 Charnwood Dr. from 1-3 p.m. The $10 donation includes chalk, snacks, refreshments, and a designated block of sidewalk for drawing. The event is co-ordinated by children helping other children and all proceeds will go towards Free the Children clean water projects. The day will also include music, art lessons, a friendly competition and bake sale.
