SKRLAC, Janko Peacefully passed away with family by his side, at St Joseph's Hospital on Sunday September 29, 2013 at the age of 89. Now reunited in heaven with his dear son Ljubo (1986). Beloved husband for 70 years to Nada. Loving father of Ljerka "Erika". Cherished grandfather of John Skrlac, Steve Skrlac (Melanie), Denis Vranich (Jennifer), Diana Skara (Jerome) and greatgrandfather of Sam, Tommy and Bella. Will forever live on in the hearts of his many wonderful extended family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the caring and dedicated staff of both; the Willow Grove Long Term Care, and St Joseph's Hospital. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Vigil Prayers on Wednesday at 7:15pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church 1883 King Street East on Thursday October 3, 2013 at 9:30am. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington to follow.
