Sex assault at home not related to incidents near Sheridan by David Lea Oakville Beaver Staff 3 | Friday, December 6, 2013 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com Halton police are asking for the public's help to find the man responsible for sexually assaulting two young women at an Erin Street home Tuesday evening. At 10:30 p.m., police said a male entered the residence through an unlocked sliding door. He quickly met two women who lived in the home and who told him to leave. Police said the intruder inappropriately touched the women before being chased out by another resident. He was last seen jumping over a backyard fence. At this time in the investigation, police do not believe this incident is connected to other recent sexual assaults, which have occurred in the vi- cinity of Sheridan College. The suspect in this assault is described as in his early 20s, 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-4 with a slim build, black hair and dark eyes. He wore a grey sweater with blue jeans and a dark mask, which covered the majority of his face. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-465-8970, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.com or by texting `Tip201' with a message to 274637 (crimes). · · · Halton police are investigating following an assault on a woman near Sheridan College in midNovember. The suspects followed her to the area of Trafalgar Road and Marlborough Court where, police said, one man grabbed her wrist and pushed her to the ground. The victim went home and called police. The first suspect is described as white, 21-22 years old, 5-foot-8 with a thin build, brown hair and one crooked tooth. The second was 21-22 years old with a medium build and a black goatee. The third man was white, 21-22 years old and close to 6-feet. Police ask anyone who witnessed this incident, particularly the Good Samaritan driver, to call them.
