On Jan. 1, 2014, people can use the free shuttle from South Oakville Centre (formerly Hopedale Mall) as parking near the park is limited. The event takes place no matter the weather, say Todd and Trent Courage, event co-founders. To date, the Courage Polar Bear Dip has raised more than $1 million for clean water projects around the world.
