Love Mom BAKER, Glenn Peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on January 18, 2014 at age 67 after a lengthy battle with heart disease and also cancer. Despite increasing mobility issues, Glenn never lost his love of life, nor his wonderful sense of humour and still enjoyed travelling. He worked at Culligan for over 35 years and was the devoted husband of Helga, happily married for 45 years. He was the loving father of Christina (husband Ken Bowles), proud Papa of Christopher, and beloved big brother of Daryl (wife Donna). He is also survived by loving step-mom Molly, niece Bonnie Dielman (husband Demetrius), nephew Brian, great nephews Dominick and Brendan, and great nieces Makenzie and Brooklyn. Glenn was preceded in death by father George, mother Audrey, and brother Duane. At Glenn's request, in lieu of a service, donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital. LAISTER, Mary Doris (nee Coles) Mary was the bond that held our family together. She peacefully left this world on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the age of 89 to join her husband Doug. Mary will be forever missed by her loving children Leo (Teri), Glenn (Laura), Drew (Alice), Mark (Sylvia) and Mia (Cameron), her loving grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah, Carly, Jaimie, Alexandra, Ben and Ewan as well as her 2 great grandchildren Royal and Ariya. Mary is survived by her sister Beverly, brother Robert (Maureen), sister-inlaw Vera (Bunny) and brothers-inlaw Cliff and Frank. Predeceased by her sisters Marjorie and Pat, brother John and brother-in-law Rheal. Also left to mourn are many nieces and nephews. According to Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. A family gathering will be arranged at a later date. The famly would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Lakeshore Place Retirement Residence and Joseph Brant Hospital.
