Jay held the office of Elder in the Community of Christ Church, which was an important element in his life. He will be remembered for, his passions of boating, and the outdoors of Northern Ontario, as well as his love of reading and his continuing quest for knowledge. Jay's life was truly enriched by the time he spent with his family and his many friends. A Celebration of Jay's Life will be held at a later date.
