ROBINSON, Peter After a long illness, Peter beloved husband of Margaret for almost 50 years, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2013 at Carpenter Hospice. Peter was a Soldier, Sailor, Captain of Canadian Coastguard Auxiliary, (TOWARF); a lover of everything outdoors including cycling, hiking, canoeing. Peter was also a keen member of the St. Jude's Garden Guild. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Michael and David and his sisters in law, Sylvia and Marion as well as by his brothers in law Kenneth, Leslie, Malcolm, Robert, Graham and their families in the U.K.. Peter was very much loved by all who were acquainted with him. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Carpenter Hospice. Thanks also for the caring professionals: Dr. Kouroukis, Dr. Gudelis, Dr. Tozer(Jurvinski Cancer Centre) Dr. Janz, Joseph Brant Hospital, Dr. Carling-Chambers and Dr. Harpal Singh. Visitation was held on Sunday December 22nd, 2013 at OAKVIEW FUNERAL HOME (56 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville) from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A funeral service was held at St. Jude's Anglican Church (160 William St., Oakville) on Monday December 23rd, at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Carpenter Hospice.
