The recipients of this year's Rotary Clubs Educational Awards were presented with their prizes at the annual gala awards dinner held at Otello's Banquet Hall. Thirty six graduating high school students received scholarships and bursaries in support of their post-secondary education from the three local Rotary service clubs. Jointly presented by the Rotary Club of Oakville, the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar and the Rotary Club of Oakville West, eleven scholarships and twenty-nine bursaries, totalling in excess of $45,000, were presented to talented students to assist them in achieving their post-secondary education. Rotary recognizes, celebrates and congratulates these aspiring students who come from Oakville's local high schools.
