The rest appear confident, alert, ready to move out into the world and, like our Appleby students, prepared to make a difference." Those present also heard from Gibson who spoke about how his original sculpture at Juno Beach was intended to preserve the bravery and power of the human spirit and to remember and honour those who fought for the freedom Canadians enjoy today.
