Deaths JOHANSSON, C ris tin a (R o c k ie r) - Cristina died peacefully after a courageous battle with amyloidosis at Toronto General Hospital on April 5, 2002, agd 57. Beloved wife of Lars-Eric and loving mother of Ann, Erica and Ewa, Cristina is survived by her five siblings and their families. Cristina graduated w ith a teaching degree from the U niversity of Gothenburg in Sweden in 1969. Following a ten year career as an SAS flight attendant, she embarked upon her teach-ing career. The Johansson family moved to Canada in 1990 and Cristina quickly made Oakville her home and dedicated her time to helping her family adjust to the new environment. She played an active role in the community and taught Swedish School in Toronto un-til her treatment began. Cristina recently returned to college and earned a degree in travel and tourism. Cristina will be sorely missed by all those who knew her. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Maple Grove United Church, 346 Maple Grove Drive, O akville.
