Shortly after midnight, a man sat beside a woman during a movie and inappropriately touched her. She called police but the suspect ed before of cers arrived. A similar incident took place at the theatre in February, but police have yet to determine a connection. "We are aware of the inappropriate touching that also occurred in February. We are looking at these two incidents, but at this time there is nothing to say it's the same person," said Det. Chris Newcombe, Halton police. "That certainly could change...At this point, we are not sure if there are additional victims. If there are, we would certainly hope they would come forward." The suspect is described as 30-35 years old, clean-shaven, overweight, with a pearshaped build and has short black hair. He wore blue jeans, a T-shirt and a grey sweater. Anyone with information about either of these incidents is asked to contact the Halton police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-465-8970 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
