The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday A ugust 14, 2002 - A 3 Promises to keep but no real action Farmhouse Festival on tap at Bronte Creek Park Step back to a simpler time in an authentic Victorian setting with the Spruce Lane Farmhouse Farm Festival. On Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., community members are encouraged to visit the Farm Festival to enjoy Victorian music and dancing, guided tours of the 103-year-old farmhouse and historical demonstrations. For children there will be pony rides, face painting, crafts, farm animals and a Penny Carnival. The event will also offer the chance for local crafts people and artisans to exhibit their trades and for the public to discover their talents. Many of the goods will be for sale. Cost to attend the Farm Festival is the general admis sion fee -- $4 per adult, $3 per senior, $2 for each youth, with children aged three and under admitted for free. Most events at the festi val are free with park admis sion.
