The incidents are believed to have taken place sometime overnight Friday on at least three streets near Upper Middle Road and Third Line. In one incident, the teens allegedly ripped down Christmas lights and threw them onto the road, where they were subsequently run over by a vehicle, said police. Another home, on a nearby street, also had its light torn off by what police believe is the same group of teens. On yet another street, the teens allegedly proceeded to damage a six-foot tall reindeer and swap Christmas decorations amongst homes on the road. A home security camera on that street cap- tured images of the suspects, but police as yet don't have a detailed suspect description. Halton police are taking the opportunity to remind residents about their Security Camera Registration and Monitoring program (S.C.R.A.M.) that allows homeowners to register their video surveillance equipment with them online. Once registered, a resident's address is added to a database of surveillance camera locations for of cers to access when investigating criminal offences in a neighbourhood, police said. Information about last weekend's incidents in Glen Abbey can be provided to the on-duty staff sergeant in Oakville at 905-825-4747, ext. 2210. Anyone with information on this or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-8477 (TIPS) or through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.com or by texting "Tip201" with your message to 274637 (crimes). www.oakville.ca ect. pr o t . t Review of ec Town Hall at the ServiceOakville customer service desk.
