The Region hosted approximately 60 employers and employees to learn about what they could do to promote positive mental health and prevent harm in their workplaces. The focus of the event was for participants to gain a better understanding about the new National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace -- developed by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group) and the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) -- and how they can best implement the new standard into their workplaces. National Standard The national standard provides guidelines to help employers maintain healthy and productive workforces, and also helps them get the best possible return on investment.
