On his 86th birthday, Father Jack peacefully went home to be with his Heavenly Father. A celebration of life service was held in Owen Sound, at an earlier date. Jack was rector of St. Hilda's Anglican Church, Oakville, for 20 years before his retirement in 1994. His faith in the transforming love of God, his excitement in the power of the Holy Spirit and his life-giving friendship with Jesus, fueled his amazing energy and touched the lives of us all. We will so miss his encouraging hugs but we rejoice that he is a citizen of heaven. CLARK, Roger Frederick September 20, 1947 December 15, 2014 Originally from Upper Heath, England, Roger lived in Toronto, Georgetown and eventually moved to Bronte in 2006, where he became a valuable part of the local community, and especially CJ's Café in Bronte, where he became `family'. He held a degree in Psychology from York University, and was married twice. He was a member of the Legion, having done service when he was younger. He most recently lived at Trafalgar Lodge, Oakville, following a stroke in September 2014. On November 26, an extreme internal infection brought him to Emerge and ICU at OTMH, where he fought against the odds for almost three weeks. He died quietly just after midnight, surrounded by loving friends. Bronte-area friends gathered to remember our Roger on the evening of Sunday, January 4th, 2015, at CJ's. His ashes will be buried with his mother's in Olivet Cemetery, in Seeleys Bay, ON. His humour and caring will remain with those he touched. FARR, Agnes L.
