While most people associate the holidays with fam ily, friends and good times, there are many others deal ing with depression, bereavement, family conflict and isolation. The Distress centre recognizes that this time of year brings out different emotions and affects indi viduals in a variety of ways. As a result, the distress lines are open seven days a week, including Christmas.
