The parties include OCA, CTAC, the Region of Halton, Conservation Halton, RAND and other landowners north of Dundas Street. The settlement provides that: 1. All parties accept the approval of OPA 198 by the Ontario Municipal Board with clarifications to the language. 2. Once OPA 198 is approved by the Ontario Municipal Board, the Town will undertake a number of initiatives to enhance current Town programs supporting the protection, preservation and enhancement of the environment. 3. The settlement benefits the residents of Oakville. Copies of the Minutes of Settlement will be available on the Ontario Municipal Board's web site (www.omb.gov.on.ca) and the Town's web site (www.oakville.ca).
