IZQUIERDO SUBERO, Gustavo Adolfo After a brave battle with cancer, Gustavo left us to be an Angel of God on January 21, 2015, at the young age of 13. Gustavo was the beloved son of Lizbeth and Gustavo Sr., and younger brother to Daniela. He will be sorely missed by Abuelos Juan and Nieves, Gerardo and Olga, 5 Tias and 7 Tios, all his cousins across Canada, Venezuela and Spain and the US, and many many friends. Gustavo enjoyed tennis, soccer, riding his bike, and going to Canada's Wonderland. He was a straight A student at St. Marguerite D'Youville in Oakville. His precious smile, kind manners and generous heart made him a very special boy. All that knew Gusti said he was an angel - now he truly is. May his sweet soul rest in peace. The family would like to thank the hardworking staff at Toronto Hospital for Sick Children and Holland Bloorview Rehabilitation Hospital for their loving care of Gustavo, and the families of the St. Marguerite D'Youville school community for all their support over the past 7 months. The foundation will be used to help children with cancer, here at Toronto Sick Kids Hospital, in his native Venezuela, or wherever needed most. He was 80 years old. She was born on April 20, 1932 in Montague, Prince Edward Island. She lived in Cape Breton and New Brunswick as a child, and attended Mount Allison University, graduating in 1953. Joan travelled extensively and lived in Ottawa, England, Denmark, and Toronto. She settled in Oakville in 1961. She is survived by three children, David (Catherine), Heather (Gabor), and Ian (Hélène), and four grandchildren, Samuel, Olivia, Gisèle, and Oscar. Joan was predeceased by her husband John Ernest Colman. Joan was an enthusiastic bridge player, an avid reader, and enjoyed attending the theatre and travelling with her family.
