Nicole Vrazinovski and Erin Stewart added silver medals and Tom Watson earned a bronze. Alina Santos, Mathew Samuel, Dania El Sammak, Sydney Little, Frank Feng, Electra Halushak, Alexis Halushak and Daniel Nelson all finished in the top six of their events. Oakville skaters combined for another seven medals at the fourth western regional meet of the year in Milton. Andrew Liou and Spencer Skeet won gold, Alec Neate and Damian Becker took silver, and Izabella Zakatsiolo, Manu Kadalayil and Emma Borca were bronze medalists. The 11-year-old Walker, who trains out of Milton Skating Club, finished behind only a 14-year-old competitor in the prenovice division at the Skate Canada Challenge earlier this season in Montreal. Whether as a skater or team manager, McLellan has won world championship gold and silver medals and eight Canadian championships (including six in a row). In 2000, she received the prestigious Elizabeth Swan Award in recognition of her contribution to synchronized skating in Canada. Blundy (builder, hockey) served the Sheridan College athletic community in many ways, but he is most remembered for his contributions to hockey. A member of the school's first varsity hockey team in 1967, Blundy went on to coach both the Bruins men's and women's hockey teams, being named Ontario college hockey coach of the year in 1987 and 1988. He also managed the J.M. Porter Athletic Centre on Sheridan's Oakville campus for 23 years. Blundy will be inducted posthumously after he lost his battle with cancer last January. The addition of this year's five inductees will increase the Oakville Sports Hall of Fame's membership to 42. Tickets for the induction ceremony/dinner can be purchased for $110 per person or $800 for a table of eight.
