G I F T O F L E A R N I N G Stamp show coming March 14 Local stamp collectors will unite at the 42nd annual Oakville Stamp Show on March 14. Hosted by the Oakville Stamp Club, approximately 14 dealers will converge at St. Paul's United Church auditorium, 454 Rebecca St., coming from across Ontario. The show will include stamps and postcards for sale and collections, circuit books, and table auctions, among other features. "We invite dealers so that we have a wide spectrum of items for the collectors. There will be stamps of course, but also postcards, postal stationary, booklet stamps, and postal history," said Bernd Duddeck, of the Oakville Stamp Club. "You can easily spend the entire day at the show." This year's focus of the show is Baby Boomers and their Parents. "Time and again, dealers hear from people that they have a "collection" at home left to them by one of their parents. They have no idea what to do with it. This show is the perfect place to find out," said Duddeck. Admission and parking is free, refreshments and handouts will be available and everyone, including children, are welcome. The show runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For information, email colbournetriller@cogeco.ca. 11 | Thursday, February 12, 2015 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School's Department of Technological Studies was more than happy to accept the donation of a new 2014 Hybrid Lexus from Lexus of Oakville for use in the Sixth Line high school's program.
