Still Alice, starring Academy-Awardwinning actor Julianne Moore, tells the story of Dr. Alice Howard (Moore), a renowned linguistics professor at Columbia University. When words begin to escape her and she starts becoming lost on her daily jogs, Alice must come face-to-face with an overwhelming diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The screening will be held at Film.ca Cinemas, 171 Speers Rd., unit 25, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15, which includes one bag of popcorn. Donations are also welcomed.
