At 10:30 p.m. someone pried open one of the home's rear windows and made their way inside. Police said the homeowner was present, but was in bed and believed the noise coming from downstairs was his wife returning. The suspect entered several rooms in the dwelling, but then left empty-handed, possibly after realizing someone else was in the house, police said.
