OTHS robotics team's parents host astronaut at fundraising dinner for the team The parents of Oakville Trafalgar High School's FIRST Robotics team are hosting a fundraiser they're sure will be out of this world. On May 13, the public is invited to the 2nd annual Robotics Fundraiser, which includes dinner at the Oakville Club and a presentation by Dr. Dave Williams, a retired Canadian astronaut. In addition to his experiences in outer space, Williams is a medical robotics specialist, a neuroscience researcher and an emergency room physician. He is also a motivational speaker. This fundraiser will go towards financing the high school team's annual expenses of approximately $45,000. With more than 50 members, the Red Devils FIRST Robotics team participates in an international STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program and has won numerous awards and competitions. Dinner is a three-course meal and cash bar at the Oakville Club, 56 Water Street. There will also be a silent auction.
