The Buzz got a goal from Nick Wordtmann 50 seconds into the second period to take a 3-2 but that would be the last time Oakville would find the net. Newmarket tied the game three minutes later and then scored twice in 25 seconds midway through the period to take the lead for the first time, and never surrendered it on its way to a 9-3 victory in Friday's Ontario Junior B lacrosse game. The Buzz dressed six affiliate players Friday, including Wordtmann. All three Buzz goals came from players scoring the first goal of their Jr. B careers. Yvon Bolduc opened the scoring eight minutes into the game. Newmarket tied the game but the Buzz responded 22 seconds later with a goal by Adam Wolf to regain the lead. The Saints again tied the game in the final minute of the period before Wordtmann scored to give the Buzz its third lead of the game.
