Ernest Reddie, a security guard at Oakville Town Hall, insists he did nothing special, however, local resident Sharyn Wilson and her bird, Frisbee, would disagree. "What a sweet man to go out of his way to help a little bird," said Wilson, a 65-year-old widow. "I thought for sure (Frisbee) was gone." It was unseasonably cold outside on Sunday, April 26, but Frisbee was warm and cozy inside Wilson's Marlborough Court apartment. As usual, the small bird was flying free around the living room. see Pair on p.16 Thank you Together, we raised an incredible $35,000 From the Halton Food for Thought Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers and Students, we thank you for being a part of our SAVE $10 Spring Breakfast Gala and for bringing us one step closer to a Halton Region where No student goes hungry at school!
