She passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital quickly and peacefully with her children by her side on May 21, 2015, in her 87th year. Born in Peterborough to Ruth and Orville Deyell, Barbara is predeceased by her husbands - Warren Marshall and Bruce McCauley, her son Philip and stepson Greg, her sister Joan, and her brother Bill. She will be remembered as the best mom by Catherine, Wendy and Craig Marshall, and Lynn McCauley; and mother-in-law to Wendy McCauley, Doug Bennett, Jill Harris, Tony Chester and Terry McClelland. Barbara believed strongly in family and was a proud Nanny to Jesse, Erika, Tyler, Sadie, Becca, Casey, Brandon, Maija and Reid. She kept pictures of her great-grandchildren close to her always.
