When my son went to serve him, the man rejected my son and asked that the other employee on the counter, a girl, serve him. When questioned, the man answered that the reason that he requested that the girl serve him instead of my son was because the girl was white. Imagine how my son felt! I am curious why this man has this racist attitude. Is it against all non-whites or just oriental people? This man should consider the following situation. If he has a business or factory, would it be successful if all non-white people would not patronize his business because he is white ? Would he appreciate it if his son or daughter received the same treatment as he is dishing out to non-whites? Should our goal for this new century be the elimination of racism? Remember that we really all belong to the same race, the human race! I hope that this man reads this letter and realizes the injustices that he is doing to people. subm it a 2 5 0 -5 0 0 w o r d essay Prize: Bicycle Courtesy of Co-Operators Insurance Students 15 years and old e r w ill subm it a 3 5 0 *7 0 0 w o r d essay Prize: Driver Training Courtesy of Sears Driver Training E ssay s m u s t i n c l u d e a s e p a r a t e t i t l e p a g e indicating t h e n am e, age a n d sch o o l o f t h e a u t h o r P l e a s e s u b m i t a ll e n t r i e s v i a m a i l , e - m a il ( r ic h t e x t o n l y ) o r f a x I t t c t # 4f, 3 0 0 t feo: A n d re w B ro u w e r C l e r k 's D e p a r t m e n t , T o w n o f O a k v i l l e P .O .
