While Fare Share's Thanksgiving food drive of cially ended last Sunday, thanks to local schools and groups, donations are still coming in through to Halloween. Because of this outpour to help the less fortunate in the community, the Oakville food bank is extending its drive to Oct. 31 with food donations still be accepted at all local re stations, grocery stores and its 1240 Speers Rd., unit 6, headquarters. "It is important that we ll our warehouse, so we can last through the cold winter months and into the spring," according to Fare Share food bank volunteers. Fare Share is a registered charity and can issue tax receipts for donations.
