"The show is a window into the amazing creativity of the students and also shows some of the issues that concern them," Loyola art teacher Liz Tkalec told the Oakville Beaver. Artwork by students from Grades 9-12 will be on display at the 1550 Nottinghill Gate school from 6-8:30 p.m. Admission is free. The show includes more than 400 pieces of art in a variety of subjects and mediums. Artscene "Connected to your Community" Family Valentine's Day Party Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, 1086 Burnhamthorpe Rd. E., is hosting a Valentine's Day party Sunday (Feb. 14), from 1-4 p.m. Activities will include arts and crafts, live music, games and prizes. Fundraising activities for the centre include family portraits, airbrush tattoos, food and a silent auction. Tickets at the door cost $10 (adults) or $5 (children).
