Almost $30,000 was raised, with 80% o f the proceeds going to the YMCA Financial Assistance Program and 20% to Appleby's Scholarship and Bursary Program. The marche-style dinner featured a variety of delicious foods prepared and served by Alternatives Market. Appleby students acted as parking guides and Appleby musicians serenaded the guests during the champagne reception and dinner. After dinner, guests filed into Willis Hall for the Tribute to Divas Live concert, featuring Shania, Celine and Tina clones. Accompanied by a five-piece band, the entertainers had guests rocking in their seats. Dessert and coffee in the Willis Hall foyer rounded out the evening. Jim D 'Orazio and his family sponsored the event. Complete Party Rent-Alls provided the marquees, furnishings and equipment, while Metrus Development Inc. supplied the cham pagne and table wines. Photos by Peter C. McCusker Concert clones are, clockwise from bottom left: Karen Granger as Celine Dion, Denise Mathews as Tina Turner, and Jamie Lee as Shania Twain. Granger's portrayal of Dion has earned her stand ing ovations from the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas and Ballys in Atlantic City to the Windsor Casino.
