At approximately 10:30 a.m., a Halton Regional Police of cer stopped a Mercedes SUV reported travelling 136 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone at Ninth Line and Dundas Street. The of cer found a toddler not properly secured in a child safety seat in the backseat. The driver was charged with stunt driving and failing to ensure a toddler is properly secured. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days.
