One of these charities is Halton Women's Place, which is an agency that helps women or families going through hard times in their life. According to its website, Halton Women's Place is a non-profit organization devoted to assisting abused women and their dependent children. It provides shelter and support services. Students and their families are now able to donate items like toiletries, clothing, nonperishable food and more. We started our donation drive for Halton Women's Place this week and will be continuing it until next Friday, April 8. In addition to this, HG's Me To We club has raised more than $250 this year to help provide clean water to developing countries for the annual global Me To We initiative. Most of us have jam-packed lives, or at least we seem to think so. But really if you stop and think about it, you will know you have time for something else. Me to We is a great organization run by a variety of people, from kids in the area, to teenage and adult volunteers, we believe. You probably have heard that from other organizations, but this is the real deal. Started by Craig Kielburger when he was 12, Me To We is an organization of believers -- believers of change. There are many events we participate in, such as We Day, our app (We365) and other fundraisers. Helping the world doesn't have to be through money, it should be in care. Care by giving smiles to people along your way, care by buying cool rafikis handmade by mothers in Kenya, or just completing challenges in the Me to We app, We365.
