The children's choir, which was funded by an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant received last year by Oakville's Tempus Choral Society, will get its second big-audience performance opportunity at the Society's 2016 spring concert on May 6. With its rst performance at the Society's 2015 Christmas concert, the children's choir is now 22 voices strong -- exceeding its rst-year target of ten members. The children's choir will join the 80-voice Tempus SATB choir for the concert -- billed as "A Grand Night for Music" -- at Clearview Christian Reform Church starting at 8 p.m. "Not many children's choirs sing jazz," said Brian Turnbull, music director of the Tempus Choral Society.
