The Hotline Always Blings Twice for former Oakvillian Kyle Dooley Second City Toronto's 77th mainstage revue has shows until July 3 Former Oakvillian Kyle Dooley is part of Second City Toronto's 77th mainstage revue, The Hotline Always Blings Twice. Currently on stage at the 51 Mercer St. Toronto improv company until July 3, the show features comedic sketches and improvised scenes about binging on Netflix, Uber vs. Taxis, and how die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fans handle bandwagon jumpers. "A night of unforgettable characters, supremely funny sketches and ridiculous rants. Nothing is sacred and everything is hilarious as the mainstage cast members use satirical social commentary to skewer everyday subjects...," stated a media release. Show co-written by Dooley The show is written and performed by Dooley, Leigh Cameron, Becky Johnson, Etan Muskat, Kirsten Rasmussen and Kevin Whalen, and is the second mainstage revue the cast has written together. Dooley, now a Toronto-based comedian and writer, is the cofounder of the Halifax-based sketch comedy group Picnicface, which received the 2012 Canadian Comedy Awards for best sketch troupe, best TV show, best writing, and best ensemble.
