Some students called for the building of more basketball and football facilities, stating these could be a good way to promote exercise in the community and team-building through sports. That vote resulted in a landslide victory for 10-year-old Faris Abuain of Palermo Public School. Faris said making Oakville more accessible to people with disabilities is one way the town could be made better.
