On May 22, a man pulled up to the Petro Canada gas station, at 2300 Royal Windsor Dr. Police allege the suspect pumped more than $70 worth of gas into his vehicle and then drove away without making any attempt to pay. A similar incident involving the same suspect took place in Milton on May 26. On that day, police allege, an individual attended the Petro Canada gas station at 620 Thompson Rd., pumped more than $60 worth of gas and left without paying. The individual is wanted on a charge of theft under $5,000. He is described as 30-35 years old. He drove an older model (2000-07) Dodge Caravan, dark purple or black in colour. Police said the licence plate attached to the vehicle is listed as lost/stolen in Peel Region. At some point between April 9-26, someone entered the residence through an unlocked garage door, police said. The intruder stole a bicycle valued at around $1,000 and a backpack valued at $150. No one was home at the time of the break-in and the missing property was not noticed until earlier this week.
