Throughout her long and joyful life, whether she was: `Mary' to her coworkers, putting in the long hours at ProCor to provide for her family; or `Mom' to her kids, caring for and keeping her four beloved children - Stuart, Roberta, Charles and Janet - in line; or `Mame' to her brothers, adventuring out west as often as she could to stay in touch with William and James and their wonderful families; or `Grammy' to her grand and greatgrandchildren, centering her life around her ability to see and spend quality time with them; or `Mary' to her friends, spending her spare time bettering her community on the board for the Bronte Historical Society at the Sovereign House or in the Morrden School breakfast program, Mary Teresa Murray always brought happiness, positivity, dedication and piety to any situation she found herself in. Mary was active, energetic and spunky until her final day, whether going on one of her many walks or trying to fight off unwanted squirrels that had made their way into her house one way or another. Mary was also a pious and devoted woman who went to church every week and spent as much time with family as was humanly possible. Mary's great and prosperous life came to an abrupt end because of a senseless accident on June 6th, 2016. Her family and loved ones will be holding a memorial service for a truly amazing mother, friend, grandmother, sister and person. Mary would have liked donations to Bronte Historical Society or St. Paul's or Walton United Church Outreach Program in lieu of flowers. We love you Grammy, and we couldn't even begin to thank you for all you've done for us. We know you will continue to guide and watch over us from your new place up above just as you did when you were here with us classifieds@metroland.com R0013850839 1-800-263-6480 Tributes for this black and white feature must be received by 10 a.m., June 15th. The Oakville Beaver would like to express sincere and heart-felt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones.
