The deadline for pre-registration for the YMCA of Oakville's 10k Run is Saturday, April 29, 2000 at 5:00 pm. Pre-registered runners will receive a free event T-Shirt, but your registration must be received before Saturday at 5:00 pm. Registrations can be dropped off at the YMCA at 410 Rebecca Street; at The Running Company, 118 Thomas Street; or The Invidiata Team office at 83 Reynolds Street. The 10k Run, 5k Walk and and 1 k Challenge for under-12-year-olds and Special Olympians takes place Saturday, May 6, rain or shine. All events start and end at the YMCA on Rebecca Street. On-site registration for all events starts at 7:30 am. Free Child Care will be available to youngsters whose parents are participating in the event. Refreshments will be provided and lunch will be served at minimal cost. Entertainment will be provided by students from the Queen Elizabeth Park music program.
