Police sources say that on Tuesday around 10 p.m. an 18-year-old male arrived at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with deep stab wounds in his chest. The wounded man was stabilized and then transported to Hamilton General Hospital in critical condition where he underwent surgery. His condition, as of Wednesday, was upgraded to stable; he is expected to make a full recovery, say police. Investigators from the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau have been conducting the investigation. They say an altercation occurred in the area of Kindos Street and Sutton Drive in Burlington sometime Tuesday between 9:30-10 p.m. Investigators from the Burlington Criminal Investigations Bureau are now working with Oakville investigators and are seeking information from anyone who may have information about the incident and/or witnessed an altercation in the area.
