Oakville financeer facing slew of fraud charges by David Lea Oakville Beaver Staff 3 | Friday, September 30, 2016 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com An Oakville resident, who worked in a Hamilton mortgage broker's office, and who is facing sexual assault charges, is now facing 19 additional fraud-related charges. In September 2015, Hamilton police began a criminal investigation after several women approached police with allegations of sexual assault. Since that time, Hamilton police partnered with several surrounding police agencies and provincial regulatory bodies and have continued their investigations into complaints received from members of the public. As a result of this investigation, an arrest was made Wednesday (Sept. 28). Dinesh (Dennis) Khanna has been charged with 11 counts of fraud over $5,000, three counts of making a false statement, two counts of issuing a false document and three counts of uttering a forged document.
